The good folks here at Figure Realm try to give you accurate, unbiased, and most importantly, free information on action figures all day everyday! But of course, reviews and an occasional rant can only go so far, that 's why we encourage you to contribute! We're trying to build the largest, most informative, and simplest to use action figure gallery on the planet for every person out there to enjoy. Whether you want to know how many figures are in a series or the name of a certain figure or even if you just want to stare awestruck at all the pretty colors, galleries help everyone. What can you do to help? Glad you asked!
There were actually two (2) versions of this figure produced. The major difference I can see is, that on the Amok Time re-release figure, it has the chain-mail skirt piece that was missing on the first (Majestic Studios) release. Other than that, the only other difference I know of is that the box art was changed slightly. From what I've read, there were plenty of flaws in the packaging so this aspect is not a big deal. While these figures are not perfect, they are very nicely done and the prototypes, for the unreleased 2nd wave, that were shown in the 2008 New York Toy Fair made old school fans drool. This line would have been one of the most comprehensive, best detailed, and highest quality production action figures to represent the Original BSG Series, ever! Oh, what could have been.
