He is the Norse God of Thunder, master of the storm and lightning, heir to the throne of legendary Asgard. Summoning the enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir, EMS technician Jake Olson stands transformed into the mightiest warrior of mythology: Thor! As the son of Odin, Thor's strength, endurance and resistance to injury are greater than the vast majority of his superhuman race. The enchanted hammer Mjolnir, made of mystic Uru metal, is nearly indestructible. The mallet derives the remainder of its powers from Odin's six enchantments: No living being, unless worthy, may lift it; it always returns to the exact spot from which it was thrown; it channels Thor's ability to control the elements of storm and project mystical energy; it allows its wielder to open transdimensional portals; it enables Thor to transform himself into human form; and it grants its user the power of flight.
Thirty bucks is what I paid for this guy. He was most definetly worth it. I love his face, but not so much the hands. The problem with them is bottom of them. Just flat plastic. Its as though ToyBiz forgot to sculpt them out. Next, WHERE ARE THE LAST SET Of BUTTONS?...[See More]
This is my first review, and it's about Marvel Legends serie 3 Thor.
The figure stands about 7,5 inches and is very detailed. The figure has got 31 points of articulation.
Before I get into the figure, I'm going to talk about the base. The base is a green base, with dead asgardians on it. One of the asgardians is really big, like a giant-man asgardian.
The paint on thor is really cool, the black on the figure is a plain black (I think) and the rest of the paint is with shading.
The rounds on his torso are blue, with silver painted on it.
Speaking of that rounds, he's missing two that are supposed to be on his waist.
The schulpt on the figure is pretty good, but the cape makes him quite back-heavy.
There is one minor complaint I have about thor, his face. I just don't like is that much....[See More]
If you missed your chance to snag a Marvel Legends Thor for $7.99 while he was in stores, then prepare, oh foolish one, to spend tens of dozens of dollars on a ML Thor online. Dozens I say! I'm going to go out on a limb and guess Thor was a short-packed figure, which is why he is so pricey now. He goes for about 20 - 50 dollars depending whether he's still in the package or not. The up-side is that he's worth every penny you will pay (that's a lot of pennies). For the meantime; Hail Greatest Thor! Warrior of Legend, Master of Thunder and Lightning, Defender of Midgard, Surmounter of All Evils, Victor of All Battles Whether He Fought In Them Or Not, Rightful Heir to the Asgardian Throne!...etcetera, etcetera.
Thor towers over all lesser Legends at a truly mighty 7 inches! (7 1/2 inches...[See More]
