Extremely astute. Cunning. Treacherous. Devious. Hostile. Born in 2344. Daughter of deceased U.S.S. Enterprise Security Chief Tasha Yar and a Romulan General. Tasha Yar was executed after Sela (age 4 years) betrayed her to the Romulans during an escape attempt. Her leadership of the Romulans in aiding Duras' faction against Gowron during the Klingon Civil War was exposed when she tried to break through a Federation blockade (Stardate 45020.4). Sela was responsible for kidnapping Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Lieutenant Commander Data, and Ambassador Spock during an unauthorized peace mission to Romulus. She then attempted a sneak attack against the planet Vulcan, in stolen Vulcan ships. This attack was thwarted when Ambassador Spock exposed the plot and the U.S.S. Enterprise intercepted the stolen vessels (Stardate 45245.8).
All attempts to negotiate with her have been met with hostility. She is considered devious and treacherous.
