As a young boy, Bruce Wayne's life was perfect. His father Thomas Wayne was a renowned physician. He and his wife, Martha Wayne were rich and they loved Bruce more than anything. But one fateful night, everything made a turn for the worst and went horribly wrong. The family was walking back from a movie when they decided to walk down the alleyway now known as crime alley. A mugger by the name of Joe Chill, stepped out to them and threatened them with a gun at point blank. Bruce's parents tried to cooperate with the thug, but he shot them both. Leaving a sad, young Bruce alone in the alleyway, stricken with loneliness and despair. From that moment on, Bruce vowed to stop crime in all of its forms. He swore he would never let anyone suffer the same way he did. Bruce trained his body and mind, mastering everything he needed to be ready to fight the evils that lay ahead. The first night out went awry. He realized he needed something a symbol which would strike fear in the hearts of criminals. He chose the bat.In many ways, Bruce Wayne died when his parents did and only Batman remained.

Did you know?
Batman always carries Kryptonite in his chest-plate, just in case Superman becomes a liability in some way.

Bat Gadgets

Batman doesn't have the ability to fly or super-strength or even super-speed. But that doesn't mean he is any less of a hero. In fact, his punch is said to be stronger than most super-humans.
Because he is a billionaire, Bruce can buy and use many weapons his company, Waynetech, creates. Batman has many gadgets and weapons at his disposal including:
Batarangs: Small, bat-shaped sized boomerangs that stun or stop an enemy.

The Bathook: A grapplehook which assists him in scaling large distances, swinging across rooftops, and getting out of sticky situations.

Batbombs: Small bombs that are used to stop vehicles from being used and other means. He also carries various gases to knock out or disable criminals. He also uses a smoke pellet to cloud himself and give him the element of surprise. He also has a med-kit in case he or any of his allies get injured. A gas mask, a bat-computer, and a remote control for his Batmobile and various other vehicles.

Bat Suit
Batman's suit has lightweight armour developed by Waynetech. His cowl has lenses allowing him to see in various ways such as thermal vision, x-ray vision, and others. It also has a hardened front and shock impacts, allowing him to headbutt people without hurting himself. His cloak is fire proof, water proof, and bulletproof. His cape has proven to have protected him from various long range attacks. It is also very lightweight as he can hold it out and glide in the air for short periods of time.

Vehicles
Batman has a variety of vehicles. His first ever vehicle was the Batgyro. His most famous vehicle of all is the Batmobile. He has had various models of it over the years. And has performed many modifications to it.He can use a remote control to steer it to his location at any time. It has many weapons to stop crooks, should he need to. He has Batjets and Batcopters which give him a bird's eye view of the city and allow him to pursue in the air. He also has various boats and hovercrafts which let him fight crime on the water. Should he need to go deeper, he has submarines. If he needs something smaller that can get into smaller spaces than the Batmobile, can he use the Batbike (also known as the Batcycle.)Batman can access his boats and submarines from a water level in his Batcave. The Batcave is Batman's headquarters that he uses to keep his identity a secret. It also has many facilities he shall need in his fight against crime. Such as the Batcomputer, which alerts him of current criminal activity and a lot more. A crime lab, gym, a holding cell, and various hangars for his vehicles. He also has a trophy room containing trophies from battles gone by. The Batcave is located underneath Wayne manor and can be accessed by a secret tunnel revealed by moving a certain object.
