Ratchet is known as a mechanical repair genius and capable of fixing almost all Autobots as long as he has required equipments and parts. His usual manner is rough though he treats his patients with care, and the soldiers at the front line have the utmost trust in him.
Ratchet has grown concerned about the increasing number of humans whose lives are at risk as the war (between Autobots and Decepticons) intensifies, and he invented a new equipment to save human lives.
