One day that Thundercracker was wandering through the wastelands of Cybertron, an arrogant little Mini-Con named Zapmaster sprang from nowhere and tried to mug the much larger and more powerful Thundercracker. After shrugging off the attack, Thundercracker was about to finish Zapmaster, but there was something about Zapmaster's spirit that he couldn't help but respect - the little guy just refused to back down, even with Thundercracker's weapons inches from his face. From that day forward, Zapmaster became Thundercracker's Mini-Con partner.
