Despite being a Decepticon, Skullgrin is somewhat fond of humans. This is because some Hollywood people found him and, due to his Pretender shell, believed him an Earthen monster instead of an alien Transformer. After the Hollywood people found out he was intelligent, they offered him a job playing monsters in movies, and Skullgrin befriended actress Carissa Carr. Skullgrin's stardom ended when he revealed his true Decepticon form.
