Tony Schiavone is an American sports broadcaster and commentator known for his extensive career in professional wrestling. Schiavone began his broadcasting journey in the early 1980s, working for Jim Crockett Promotions, which later became World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He became a prominent voice in WCW, serving as the lead announcer for their flagship program, Monday Nitro, during the famous Monday Night Wars against WWE. After WCW's closure in 2001, Schiavone transitioned to other ventures, including working for the short-lived XWF promotion and Major League Wrestling (MLW).
