Adi Gallia was a female Tholothian Corellian Jedi Master born circa 80 BBY.
After many distinguishing years as a Knight and then an accomplished Master, she became a member on the Jedi High Council in 45 BBY and went on to serve as a leading member on that body, surviving the Mandalorian War, Stark Hyperspace War and Yiinchorri Uprising, continuing to effectively serve as a crucial player until the events of the naboo blockade in 32 BBY, when Gallia's network of informants tipped her off about suspicious activity above Naboo with the Trade Federation. As advisor to Supreme Chancellor Valorum, Gallia alerted him of this potential conflict and he sent two Jedi, Qui-gon Jinn and his apprentice Obi-wan Kenobi as ambassadors to investigate, eventually leading to the War of Naboo, the delegitimisation of the Trade Federation, arrest and prosecution of Viceroy Nute Gunray and his aide Rune Haako for their involvement in the illegal affairs, and the discovery of the Sith, thought to have been extinct for a millenium.

A decade later, Master Gallia was still serving on the Jedi Council when an assassination plot against Senator Amidala was discovered and the subsequent investigation carried out by Jedi Knight Obi-wan Kenobi. Her skills would later be called upon when a 250-strong Jedi strikeforce is sent to rescue Kenobi, Skywalker and Amidala from CIS captivity on Geonosis, sparking the outbreak of the Clone Wars. While the majority of Gallia's Jedi comrades descended to the planet's surface to engage in the ground campaign to rescue the prisoners with heavy casualties, she would lead the space battle over the planet, taking out the bulk of the enemy's space infantry with minimal losses.
During the Clone Wars, Though primarily experienced in the peacekeeping work that comes with being a Jedi Consular, Gallia was known to also be a capable warrior in times passed, having little difficulty adjusting when she was quickly made a High General in the Grand Army of the Republic. She fought many battles over the course of that war with her assigned 91st Reconnaissance Corps Clone Company under the faithful command of Commander Neyo.

Gallia volunteered to be part of the rescue effort for her fellow Jedi Master, Eeth Koth in 21 BBY, when the Zabrak senior council member was captured by General Grievous above Saleucemi. She later dueled with grievous briefly, forcing the latter to retreat before rescuing kenobi and several clones from space vacuum in a ruptured hallway with her cable. The mission was a success and Koth was recovered despite the confederate general's escape.

The famed diplomat soonafter examined the recovered remains of Jedi Master Halsey and Padawan Knox from Devaron alongside masters Saesee Tiin, Plo Koon and Obi-wan Kenobi aboard a medstation, observing that only one was capable of killing them -Dooku's Sith acolyte, Asajj Ventress, though she was reported to have perished in the earlier battle of Sullust. The team then determined that it was the emergence of a wreckless, impulsive monster and therefore a new threat.

She later parttook in the battle over Lola Sayu with Plo Koon, Kit Fisto and Saesee Tiin to aid in rescuing Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Tarkin and fellow veteran council member Even Piell from the Citadel, a CIS stronghold that dealt with extracting information from republic prisoners where Piell and Tarkin were being held captive. Though the mission was successful and the vital information Piell and Tarkin were carrying retrieved, Master Piell was killed. Gallia and her comrades mourned the tragic loss of one of their own that day.

Later in the war, Adi Gallia was involved in the relief effort of Aleen and was returning from that supply mission when her cruiser was attacked by General Grievous and she was taken hostage after dueling him, with her ship destroyed and her evacuated clone reconnaissance forces scattered. She was later rescued by fellow jedi council member Plo Koon and his battalion, forcing Grievous to flee his own ship.

In 20 BBY and upon learning the disturbing revelations surrounding the Sith and the re-emergence of Darth Maul and the new alliance with his equally deadly brother Savage Opress, Gallia was assigned to join Obi-Wan Kenobi in tracking down the nightbrothers, who were using the dark side of the force to wreak havoc in the Outer Rim Territories. Despite her celebrated skills, the esteemed General was struck down by the brutish Sith apprentice Savage Opress during the subsequent fight against the brothers on Florrum.

Adi Gallia's demise left a vacant seat on the jedi council for some time, which was later filled by her niece, Jedi Master, healer and General, Stass Allie. Gallia's legacy lived on, etched in the recorded history of the Jedi Temple Archives as one of the Jedi Order's leading lights.
