Borg are humanoids whose minds and bodies have been altered with the addiction of bionic replacements. Individuals are known as drones. Controlled by a 'hive-like' central mind. All drones think and act as one. Believe they are creating a better social structure - for the good of the Universe. Each drone is specially equipped with bionic appendages to perform specific functions. Each drone has interchangeable weapon and manipulation arms. Difficult to defend against their constantly changing weapon and shield frequencies.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Very little Federation data on Borg. To date, only one Borg ship has been neutralized at a cost of over 40 Starfleet vessels. Borg are to be considered greatest single threat to the galaxy. Exercise extreme caution!
