The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 observed a fascinating phenomenon, ripples of time emanating from the surface of an unnamed planet. When Dr. McCoy accidentally injected himself with cordrazine and fled to the planet surface in a paranoid state, I joined Captain James Kirk's landing party to search for him.
On the surface, we discovered an ancient artifact calling itself the Guardian of Forever. It was a portal into history, displaying images from the past that I recorded with my tricorder. After McCoy leapt through the Guardian to ancient Earth, Kirk and I followed to correct the damage McCoy did to the timeline.
We found ourselves in the 1930 United States and, as a Vulcan, I did not blend in at all. The Captain and I borrowed clothes to disguise ourselves. Working in Edith Keeler's mission, we earned enough money so I could build a primitive computer to link with my tricorder. It showed that Ms. Keeler was the focus of the temporal anomaly.
