Recipe is: You'll need 2 blast effect bases from 2 Cannonball figures. Body Top (Cannonball); Belt, Waist & Legs (Shatterstar); Boots (Daredevil Yellow); Blast Effect (2 bases). Took Shatterstar's waist & legs and painted the black side stripes purple. Opened Shatterstar's waist piece, dremeled out top hole and interior space to create a snug fit to glue in the peg hole slot that was cut out of the top of one of the blast effects. Took Yellow Daredevil's brown boots, stripped off paint and attached to Shatterstar's legs. Now Cannonball's body top can plug into either blast effect or legs, or if you prefer, you can have 1 Cannonball with legs and a 2nd Cannonball with the blast.

I, like every other Marvel Legends collector, was disappointed that Sam had no legs. So here is a relatively easy solution until Hasbro corrects itself.

Here is a photo of the placement of the peg hold slot cut out and taken from 1 blast effect piece to place into the top of the waist line to create attachable legs.

It's really sad that Hasbro didn't add his legs. Bet they will come with another character one day.

WOW !!! Great minds think alike !!! I just completed a Cannonball last weekend using the (almost) same recipe, I just switched out the old Toy Biz boots on it. Just gotta post it along with the other 20 or so customs I still need to post. Again, great work. Now my man gots legs ! LOL

Very good recipe for an alternate Cannonball! Thanks for the guidelines, this is definitely something for everyone to try who wants a regular standing version.
