I made this figure a while back when I got back into customizing, but before I found this site. I wanted to try steel claws and this was the only Wolverine figure available to me.
I was disappointed in ToyBiz for giving Wolverine green pants, when obviously in the comic he wears jeans, so I repainted his pants to reflect this. I also didn't like that he didn't have gun like on the cover and in the comic, so I scuplted a holster with a gun in it for him (my first try with scuplting Apoxie Scuplt). I think it turned out well. I also didn't like that his gloves just kind of joined with his shirt, so I painted so flesh at his wrists. I buried some magnets in tops of his hands and made some removeable claws for him. After a dry brush of blue on his black shirt, he was done.
I was proud of this figure when I made it and when I sold it. It's what started me on my path of customizing to what I'm able to do now.
