So, I was completely inspired by DragonSuperFan's Superman Reborn (Post Rebirth Arc) custom figure, and I decided to make my own.

So, to do this figure, I took a DC Universe Classics Clash in the Cosmos Superman figure, and used my Exacto knife to cut away his belt. Next, I pulled apart his T crotch and commenced a full repaint of the red T crotch in Testors Acryl Gloss Blue. While the paint on the T crotch dried, I used brush and roller cleaner to strip off the red paint on the upper parts of the legs (which helped to form the trunks) and then commenced a complete repaint on the upper portions of the legs (from the mid calf seam upwards) with Testors Acryl Gloss Blue. Once the Gloss Blue paint had fully dried, I gave the upper portions of the legs and the T crotch two generous coats of Flat Clear. Next I needed to work on the belt. To do this, I took the belt from the DC Multiverse Earth-23 Superman, and used my Dremel to sand down and remove the bottom yellow stripe/strip. Once the belt was modded to my liking, I mixed up a small batch of Green Stuff and applied it along the black stripe/strip of the belt and smoothed it out so that it connected to the S shield buckle and the upper yellow stripe/strip. Once the Green stuff had dried, I used my Dremel to sand the belt smooth. Next, I applied a small dab of Tamiya Putty White onto the S shield buckle and then sanded the buckle smooth and flat. Once the sanding on the belt was complete, I commenced a full repaint with Testors Model Masters Guards Red for the belt, Testors Model Masters Insignia Yellow for the buckle, and Testors Acryl Gloss Blue for the exposed portions of the blue bodysuit, followed by 2 generous coats of Flat Clear. Once the Flat Clear had fully dried, I used Testors Modeling Cement to reassemble the lower body back together with the upper body. As soon as the glue had completely set, I used a small amount of brush and roller cleaner and a Q-tip to strip away the symbols from the chest and cape. Once satisfied with the removal of the symbols, I gave the upper torso two generous coats of Flat Clear to even the color on the upper body out. With the Flat Clear on the upper torso completely dry, I glued new symbols onto his chest and cape (both symbols were made by hand at a larger size, and then photocopied and shrunk to proper size), and TA-DA...Superman Reborn!!!

Please let me know what you guys think of him, and as always, comments are appreciated.
