For the longest time I had an Ex Nihilo figure lying around that I really wanted to find a use for, I just loved all the gold plastic he was molded in and then it hit me . . . Major Force ! Wrapped in the living metal skin of an alien from the quantum dimension and blasted with atomic energy, Clifford Zmeck was reborn as Major Force ! Violent, mentally unstable and able to heal from any wound as well as emit blasts of dark matter and quantum energy from his hands, this guy was definitely not a reliable soldier. For this very reason the Gov. implanted explosive devices inside his skin and one such device triggered, blowing off his hand ! Using his quantum powers he reshaped his hand into what appears to be a stone-like copy of the original and continued on his merry way causing death and mayhem.

To make this guy I started with the Ex Nihilo figure and disassembled his upper torso to sand the parts for paint rub. I then melted his feet with a heat gun and reshaped them into slippers using the back of a spoon. I did this instead of swapping or sculpting because I wanted to preserve the look of the gold plastic. I added a head from Nuke and another from Venom/Eddie Brock. To make his stone-like hand I took a wood burning tool and melted stoney shapes into the plastic, the idea for using a wood burner came from another customizer on this site who suggested people try the tool and I wish I could remember who it was so I could give them credit ! To paint his chest symbol I used a shaved down toothpick as a precision applicator. For his Dark Matter energy effect I covered his hand in zip-lock plastic and sculpted it using high-temp hot glue in a low-temp gun, thanks to @JinSaotome for his excellent tutorial on this technique. I then painted it with different colors of glitter buried in the layers and sealed with gloss. This gives it a wonderful shimmering effect when holding it in person.

All in all it was a pretty straightforward custom and I thoroughly enjoyed the purple&gold color scheme. Hope you like it !
