The first of the official "elseworlds" books DC produced, Gotham By Gaslight re-imagined Batman as having existed in Victorian era Gotham
and altered his look to have a more Highwayman-esque appearance. In the original story, Batman is hunting Jack the Ripper, who has fled across the pond in search of new victims. The book was written and illustrated by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, so the look was a grimy, weathered one which I tried to capture here. I used various clothing items, such as a jump suit from a Gray Edwards 12 inch Final Fantasy figure, a vest from a jack sparrow, custom mask and cloak, boots from a civil war era fireman and daggers from a few 21st century jaquelines. I highly recommend the book and its follow up.
