Hello Realmers:

This is my version of Trap Jaw of of my favorite MOTUC.
This is my first attempt on a MOTUC figure, and there was no other way for me to go about it, that with one of those 7 inch articulated WWE Figures and trying to keep most of the look of the 200x version. Now he is the right size and creepy look for my collection.

I´ve mentioned probably a couple of times that "I am not a MOTUC fan but this figure is ....." well maybe what I should be writing is that "I am not a MOTUC or TMNT or .... COLLECTOR YET", But I can really appreciate the art and the coolness of the designs of many characters of other collections and series.

I purchased a used Trap Jaw 200x about 3 to 4 years ago and I was blown away by the design and sculpt but really disappointed by size and articulation, It hit the drawer for many years thinking he would be a great project later on when I built a little more courage to tackle him and Skeletor. With the latest figures I've posted, including this one, I have build more Sculpting confidence for more sculpt and difficult figures, so here he is...

Nostalgia Part Here...

I did have some of the MOTUC first waves when I was a Kid. I could believe my eyes when I saw Skelletor, Merman, Beastman, Stratus, Zodak their vehicles, and later on Manyfaces, Triclops and freaking TRAP JAW.. boy this guy was even cooler than Skeletor. Probably what I liked the most was that back then there wherent many monster like figures, and these guys where awesome. For some reason never liked the cartoons, but did remember I loved the little comic books that came with them.
So I sayd to my self I have to build me a Skeletor, Heman and part of some of my favorites mentioned above...

End of Nostalgia...

Recipe:

Body: WWE figure
Head: John Cena screaming.. chewed by dog or maybe a little kid that I got on a lot of WWE figure (Perfect for this Job!!!)
Grinded hair , sculpted Face Helmet and Jaw.
I really wanted to work a metal spine ripping out of his flesh, Same as his glowing gem out of the left of his chest, all sculpted.
All Legs where Resculpted, a Small Metal Skull was embedded to the Knee.
Sculpted chest, Shoulder Armor, left forearm armor, Feet
Left Hand: I think it from a Kai Magneto.
Right Lower Arm: 200x Trap Jaw.
Belt: 200x Trap Jaw with cloth and plastic Chains added.
Upper Raised right Shoulder pad : 200 x trap jaw inserted with pins on the Arm to maintain Articulation and movement.
Some scars where added with the exacto and others with clay.

Hope you guys like it.

I go through the same thing after finishing a big or more creative project....where I just need a break from it.
It just takes that one really interesting concept to get back into it..... I have had a few items on the back burner for a while now trying to finish them up and post them.... but other projects seem to get me more excited to finish.

Incredible work, puts my 3.75 version to shame. Sculpting work is amazing, so much detail in the back and arm. Great paint job too.
