This is my take of "Rookie One" from the PC games Rebel Assault and Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire. I have never played those games but have always been intrigued by the character. This custom of Rookie One is based on the second installment of the game from the cutscenes, as in the first game you could customize your character as male or female. In Rebel Assault II they established Rookie One as male, and had real life cutscenes.

Just some part swapping and some minor tweaking to this figure. I trimmed the peg down just a bit, swapped the head, and painted over a design in the middle of the helmet. The leg flares can be seen on his right leg in the cutscenes, so I made sure to use a pilot where the flares were on the right leg. The blaster he uses looks to be a DL-44 type, with a silver tip. I had a spare from The Vintage Collection Luke X-wing figure, which I used.
