Custom made. Check out NECA’s Jason axes, part 3 I think. They have a double bladed one which is cool and a wood axe, though not a standard fireman’s axe

I totally agree. “The Shining” is my favorite movie of all time. Saw it when I was 6 and have never gotten over it. Great fan theories and just a superb movie.

Figuresky on eBay. He painted it as well. Trust me y’all, I reached out to everyone online about this; he’s the only one I’d trust at this point. I paid around $50 for each head, but these were my two grails and they’re really a piece of art. The heads were completely hollowed out, so you’ll need to get yourself some epoxy clay, maybe a dremmel, so you can attach them to your figure. I don’t know if he can create a head that doesn’t already exist, but the Chinese market is rife with great 1/6 scale heads, so you really have a selection.

Thanks! I kinda hate to say it, but even if we did get an official release, I wouldn’t buy it. There’s a lot to be said with the care and attention this one got. I mean knowing that someone put this much attention to it is just unbelievable.

One of your best, indeed! This is one of my fave customs ever. The only constructive criticism I can give is maybe try out a dull coat sealant to lessen that plastic shine. Testors is great, and so is this custom

Actually, I really appreciate that. I used spray paint for both the jacket and legs. The red was duplicolor vinyl and fabric, which sticks well to other customs I’ve done, and the blue was Design Masters “supposedly” Ultra Matte, which came out glossier than the flat blue Testors acrylic I originally used. (I really hate brush painting). I’ve used modge podge in the past, but even spraying from far away seems to leave a residue on my figures, especially the rubber parts. Also, I’ve always been told not to use lacquer or enamel on plastic. Does it matter if the dullcote’s lacquer-based?

Ehhh, I appreciate it, but the other head’s a little 90’s alt rock for me (with the hair). I’m my own worst critic when it comes to customizing. Even though I spent way too much time on it, I’d be willing to sell it on eBay for practically nothing at this point.
