Inspired by the one iconic cover by J Scott Campbell, as well as some of the recent MJ customs I've seen here on FigureRealm, here's my new version of MJ with a white Spidey shirt and ripped jeans. Used a Marvel Legends Dazzler since her upper torso and arms are cast in flesh tone. Of course I had to use the new MJ head that comes with the Gwen Stacy figure. Sculpted all the details of her outfit. I painted some of her exposed skin like on the legs, and in pictures that color is a bit different than the molded flesh tone of the original figure, but in person it is not as noticeable. Happy with how this turned out

Very nicely done. I agree with antithetical, matching skintones is a pain and I wound up just repainting Mary Jane's face when I made mine.

I thought about repainting the MJ head but I was afraid my paintjob would ruin the fantastic headsculpt since I never tried repainting a female head before.

Ooh, yeah, that's something that drives me up the wall, mixing what looks like a near perfect match for an existing fleshtone, only to find out it looks completely different in photos and various lighting situations, like it looks fantastic at the workdesk but looks off in the kitchen or living room. I just find it better to paint everything the same fleshtone, more work, but worth the effort, and you can usually get away with leaving the joints on a figure like this one. Anyway, great job on your MJ, love it!

Thank you! I thought about repainting the parts that are molded flesh tone but like you said it's more work, and I am laaazy.
