I may not be an avid reader, but out of everything I've read in my life, the novel Dark Disciple is my favorite by far. Now, don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed reading it but still I wish it's story had been made into the 8-episode arc it was suppposed to be for The Clone Wars, so we could have seen the amazing new designs for Ventress and Vos in action. This is why I decided I needed to make my own Dark Disciple Asajj, and plan on making Vos sometime soon.

The base figure is obviously the TCWC Ventress, to which I sculpted the hair and repainted the whole body. Notice how I also sanded down parts of the bandages as well as the lines in her arms and legs where the original figure's colors changed. I made her clothes from a vintage Bib Fortuna cloak and added handmade top stitches for decoration. For her armor pieces, I painted thin cardboard cut-outs, a technique I rarely see used in customs. I also repainted her eyes in a cooler shade of blue as well as the tattoos she has beside them.

For her iconic yellow lightsaber (sorry Rey, you were not the first one) I used a hilt I had laying around and made the blade from a piece of transparent plastic I cut out from an old Invisible Woman and thin-coated it in yellow.

Thank you for making this. Perfectly executed custom, lots of attention to detail. If you want a bow for her you could get an Avengers Hawkeye and take his bow! The original yellow lightsaber was actually Luke and no not just because of the notorious vintage figure mistake, the original lightsaber luke was drawn with by Ralph McQuarrie was yellow so I wonder if that’s why there was a factory mistake and the vintage figure got given the yellow go ahead. Besides that I’d also say that there’s the Jedi sentinels in KOTOR and Bastila would be the earliest use, but in Canon yeah Rey isn’t the first ok nerd mode disengaged. Really impressed with this custom you’re really talented and I know how anoying sewing can be. Some people might get upset you using vintage parts lols but I’ve done the same, I used the robe of a Royal Guard for a Palpatine.

I'm really glad you like it! Don't worry, I'm aware Ventress wasn't the first yellow lightsaber wielder either hahahah, I think in canon the first ones would be the jedi temple guards! In regards to sewing, I happen to be a fashion designer so it just comes natural to me LOL.
