Been a whole bunch of movie characters requested lately. I usually hate taking them on because I'm not a fan of attempting likenesses. But the general response lately has been "Have you seen official movie figures?" And that's fair. Aquaman was a little simpler to pull off though, with that hair and beard. It was also one of the more enjoyable DC features to come out recently. Which I was happy about since I've always really liked Aquaman.

Upper torso, lower arms, and upper legs came from Hyperion. Upper arms from Hercules. Lower torso and lower legs from Wonder Man. Head was also Hyperion with the hair and beard sculpted on. Sculpted the gloves, waist, belt, lower legs, and his entire scale armor. Oy, what an endeavor. It was also really difficult to find solid images of the suit. It was never truly and clearly shown in the movie. Trident was a dowel rod with all the additions sculpted on. From there, a full repaint, and all done!
