Ok so I've been aching to take a shot at making a Hawkman custom. I didn't want him to look traditional. I wanted a warrior with armor type Hawkman. The no shirt thing is to 80s bro lol So I grabbed an extra Terrax series marvel legends Thor. Took a marvel legends infinite series Thor head and swiped away. Now his helmet was a mixture of pieces of accessory fodder crazy glued here and there to get that Hawkman helmet look going on. I didn't want to go with the DC classic Hawkman wings so I dismantled a McFarlane toys The Batman who laughs figure. Shoulder armor, chest piece and wings. With the back of Thor's back, I melted two holes that would line up with The Batman Who laughs back piece. With a heat gun exacto attachment I then trimmed around the Batman who laughs holes where the wings popped in. Taking them out and placed them into Thor's back. Trimming away til they fit into Thor's back holes like a glove. Mind u it was like taking off a jacket from a figure when I took the Batman who laughs chest/back piece off with a little help from an exacto knife. After all that, the wings popped in so perfectly. The paint job was a mix of gold and copper acrylic I two toned. Black washing afterwards. Acrylic Brown and green for his suit. A touch of red for his underwear lol. His axe I swapped from a fornite prisoner figure handle only. The spikey ball to simulate hawkmans mallet was taken from a Transformers Red-Megatron accessory. I molded the 2 pieces together and his bad ass mallet was born. With some silver acrylic and black wash to simulate a war torn weapon. That's pretty much it!!
