From the seminal 1966 western movie “Django” with the italian actor Franco Nero, here comes a figure I was deeply willing to make. I started from a Neca Jonah Hex figure, which is not very posable, expecially in the legs, but it was the most similar figure to what I had in mind to make in terms of likeness. I took out the head and replaced it with a McFarlane Chief Hopper one and completely repainted it. I put the hat in a grip for a few days in order to lower the hat’s brims. I 100% rwpainted all the figure to have a northern uniform instead of a Confederate one. I added a few particulars, like the buckle and a water bottle. I repainted a coffin I bought on ebay and added a rope made out of a shoe string and repainted it. The machinegun is completely handmade by me: I started modelling a long cone with green stuff and added the barrels, taking them from a T1000 Terminator 3 machinegun; Using a few plastic parts and green stuff I modelled the rest of the machinegun, adding the trigger, which was part of Jonah Hex original second pistol ( you can see the other pistol in the figure’s gunholder). Added a scarf, made out of patchwork fabric. I painted the figure 100% and added some mud on the boots and the coffin using Citadel mud stuff. Hope you like it!
