Mek-A-Nek has been one figure I have been wanting to make for a while, 2 things stopped me previously, I could not get the armour to fit the WWE figure, and how to make his neck extend. I dremmeled out the armour to fit over the WWE Body, and used a tentacle from a Sentinel BAF for the neck feature.

I also always wondered what Mek-A-Nel looked like under his helmet. The new MOTU cartoon showed Ram Man without his, but not Mek.

I alsways imagined him to be quite robotic, so used a Terminator Head and the lower part of a WWE figure's face. The Helmet is now removable.

Reciepe
Head - Vintage Mek-A-Nek, Terminator and WWE Deluxe figure.
Body - WWE Deluxe Edge.
Armour - Vintage and 200x MOTU Mek-A-Nek.
Neck - Sentinel BAF Tentacle
Weapon - 200x Mek-A-Nek

Thanks! yes the head pops on and off to allow the neck piece to be snapped off and on, kinda like the movie Reed Richards figure.

This is fantastic! I take it you have to pop the head off to put the extend-a-neck
feature in, right? (a small price to pay for the longer neck and poseability)
My son was just wishing for a Mekaneck with a longer neck (we have the '02 version)
now I'm gonna have to keep him off the 'net or copy this recipe....
I'm currently working on Man-E-Faces but am slightly deviating from the
classic look, although his action feature is still intact. Should be done in
a couple of days, given the holiday. Also if painting Skeletor's stupid
havoc staff (which has given me no end of trouble for some reason)
doesn't give me too much more trouble...
All in all, cheers for a fantastic Mekaneck!

Mek-A-Nek is a hard figure or custom to pull off I don't think I have or will ever see a better Mek-A-Nek.

Looks great. The extendable neck was a good idea.
