This is a Jurassic World Super Colossal T-Rex that I repainted to better match the look of the “V-Rex” from Peter Jackson’s 2005 King Kong remake. I primed with a rattle can, and painted with with acrylics, including a few layers of dry brushing to pull out the incredible scale details that are sculpted on the figure. It’s sealed with a few coats of Krylon matte clear and I had applied a clear gloss to the tether, tongue, cheeks and eyes. “Rexy” is 42” long and part of a larger 1/12 diorama I made with a custom 17” King Kong and Ann Darrow figures.
