Hi everyone. This is "L&L Horror Toys" from Argentina. This time I introduce you to "Johann Krauss", a character from the Hellboy universe of the great Mike Mignola. Because the original figures of this line of "mezco" were very difficult to find in my country (and the few that could be found were inaccessible) I decided that I could make my own Hellboy figures. And now I have my own complete collection (which you can find in the works published in my profile). Thanks to a good friend lending me the original figure, I was able to carefully observe the amazing details of it and thus achieve the same finish. But this time I took the liberty of making 3 interchangeable heads taking as a reference to the comics. For the making of this figure I used the legs down to the knees of a VanHelsing figure from the SELECT line to which I attached loose parts of various figures of WWE wrestlers such as the torso, arms and hands. Then I sculpted over the entire figure with two-part epoxy putty. For the heads I sculpted the yellow one and made a mold from it (all with the same putty). Once with the mold I made two more heads simulating a glass tube with hot silicone and to one of them I added a skull that I sculpted myself. Finally, I painted everything with my own acetonic-based painting technique with details in acrylic and watercolors. I hope you like it. This is the fourth figure of this collection that I publish. If you are interested in seeing more images of the finished work, visit my next post "Johann Krauss [Fully Sculpted] # 2 (Completed work)". And if you are interested in seeing more photos of this or other works, follow me or write me on my networks! I will wait for you! Greetings! ![]() |
