I don't know exactly why, but I love Doppelganger. Probably just because he looks so cool. I've wanted to make him for years, but procrastinated for all the obvious reasons. He originated from the Infinity War event, where doppelgangers of every hero were created by Magus. He stuck around and ended up bonding with Shriek and Carnage. And that's pretty much where he stands ever since. I knew if I was ever going to finally make him, it had to be alongside Carnage's live action debut, so here we are!

*cracks knuckles* Ok. Upper torso, upper legs, and all three pairs of arms came from Hyperion. Lower torso and lower legs were from Wonder Man. Feet and all three pairs of hands were from Nightcrawler. Head was a cast from Fantastic3D. I dremeled under the arms and on the lower torso a bit so the new arms would fit pretty smoothly. I did the same thing I did with all the Spiral figures. Instead of making them look a bit off to maintain full articulation, I secured them in place for a more fluid look. Upper arms are still mobile, though. So, the shoulders are glued in place with sculpt added to smooth the transition a bit and secure them better. Build wise, that was about it. A full repaint, with hours long tedious line work, and we're all done!
