Smasher is a member of the Imperial Guard. Not much is known about the history of the wearer of the costume except that he became one of the most prominent fighters in the galaxy and was awarded a place among the Shi'ar's Imperial Guard, where he fought for the Emperor of the Shi'ar. It is known that he knew the original Captain Marvel. Smasher was created by Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum in 1977 and first appeared in X-Men # 107.

Outstanding job on this core member of the Imperial Guard. Hasbro needs to start doing all the core members of this long overdue team. They need to redo Gladiator on the new retro 80s Hercules buck!
