Wow! I'm happy to see you're still making customs. I remember when you were originally doing Saint Seiya stuff way back when, so it's cool to see you branching off into other IPs. This figure turned out great and it's hard to believe it was a wrestling figure before. Makes me wonder how well you could pull off an MK4 Sub-Zero. I've been thinking of parts to use for one for years but have never went anywhere with it.

Thanks! glad to read a old times collector . I am still doing quite a bit of Saint Seiya stuff, not very many for myself, mostly for commissions. On the list I received of this contest there was also MK4 Subzero, but I found this one more interesting. Nowadays there are a lot of MK figures out there, so probably choosing the right one can make most characters without much work.

I originally had bought a Deadpool Marvel Select as base figure, only to find he was very underarticulated, and didn't have the time nor patience to order any more, hence I had to make do with a wrestler and tons of sculpting . I have posted him in my blog with a WIP pic so all the work can be appreciated .

Yeah I understand what you mean about finding the right base figure. I actually have parts to make a Mortal Kombat 2 style ninja, but I haven't decided on the best way to recreate their tabbard things nor "who" I'd want to make. (Because they're all just palette swaps anyways)
