I started with the 3D model of a Space Pirate from Metroid Prime (Super Smash Bros Brawl Trophy). I chopped his limbs and head off and used some wire to give him some basic movement. A nice coat of black primer to start, followed by some nice purple flat spray. Hand paints for the remainder with a gloss color-shift follow up spray to seal him and make him glisten. Finally, some bright green fluorescent speckling made this Space Pirate look like he was coated in some otherwordly goo. Very cool.  Please wait... |
