Snout Spout (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:11426
Name:Snout Spout
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Masters of the Universe
Creator:Madtinker76
Date Added:December 13, 2008
Base Figure:SC Buzzing Beetle
Height:7.50 inches
This was my first custom using parts from a MOTU staction figure. Almost an experiment to be honest. Never took one of those apart, may or may not try that again. The head was perfect. but the flat gray didn't translate well for his entire body.
Wanted to add some mass to Snout Spout so I added shoulder pads from Man-at-Arms and some lower legs from a Power Ranger toy. I also added some tusks. I did try the classic colors scheme but it didnt seem to work on the Beetle body. I ended up taking most all of the color away from the character, leaving me with a cast iron look to him. Which fits in making him look like a massive, heavy hitter character but also I think in the extreme heat as a fire fighter his paint would have baked off.
Anyway.. thanks for looking. Comments are appreciated. I did post the staction figure next to mine to show the difference in size.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the feedback. I think someone described it as very Steam Punk, I had to look that one up. Perfectly honest I did have an old Steam Locomotive in mind when I put him together/ I am particularly fond of this one. Fighting Fire with Fire so to speak. Be on the look out, Evil-lyn V2 is in the works.
