General Crix Madine originally led a commando unit for the Galactic Empire but would eventually defect to the Rebel Alliance. An expert in covert actions he would devise the plans to attack the Endor shield generators. After the Galactic Civil War Madine would go on to serve the New Republic.

I don't know why I was always drawn to Crix Madine's ROTJ action figure. I was too young to really remember or care about his name, and the colors were all wrong with his outfit being grey as well as his beard. It turns out Kenner produced the figure before actor Dermot Crowley even began his role as the character. In fact, Crowley arrived for the part clean shaven and had to wear a fake beard to match the design of the figure. Fun trivia.

But for whatever reason, I always liked that figure, so when Hasbro finally made a General Lando from Return of the Jedi I knew I could cobble together a Madine figure. The head came from Two Suns Casting, it's an enlargement from one of the 3.75 figures. It might be a touch too small, but I think it works well enough for what I could find. The torso and upper arms are from the previously mentioned Lando figure, while the legs and lower arms are from the Death Star Trooper. The skirt was take from a Last Jedi Finn in disguise figure.
