May I present to you my custom comic-accurate Lasher figure. This figure has been given the pinless joints treatment, a pair of interchangeable fists made from scratch, Bendy tentacles (made from scratch too), two cómic-inspired head portraits (one from his firsts appearances and one for modern renditions), a Bendy web line, Bendy shooting web and has been repainted to his original colors. Everything started by a bitter feeling over this figure being a bad representation. The tentacles were fixed and didn't looked like any rendition. I took them off and I wanted to make new ones, that was the only plan. I used wire and put it to a screw to make the tentacles. I adjusted it to its place with the baking soda superglue trick. I cut the exceeding screw and sanded until I had the lowest height. I fixed the tips in a zigzag so they could get hold of the epoxy without falling. I made the tips with epoxy. I based off different interpretations to decide over the shape of each one. For the lengths of the tentacles, I used hot glue and applied it to the whole tentacles. But I was still disappointed with the way they made the head and those hands without claws. So I made a new head from scratch and I sculpted the new claws with epoxy. When I finished the claws, I also thought that it lacked fist hands, so I wanted to try this technique that I thought inside my head for a long time ago. I used pizza spiderman hands as a reference. I sculpted the hands with epoxy. The joints are made with machine paper (yeah, paper for printing) layered with superglue and carved to match the joint shape. A toothpick was used as the pivot for the hands. Finally I decided that I was going to use the original head It came with to make an accurate "early-appearances" look. Just sanded the original eyes and removed the paint. The other one ended up being a more modern rendition. I fixed the pins to place and resculpted over them to make them invisible. I carved part of the hips and the base of the legs to allow more leg range. Also, I closed the "pizza oven" this figure mold is known to have (the ab crunch gap) . I just sculpted to fill the oven a little bit from the back and the abs. ![]() |
