A custom figure of Punk Storm made in 2016.

Why I made her: Hasbro's 2016 Wolverine reawakened my dream of a Claremont X-Men Marvel Legends collection, and Casting Cave reproduced their 2013 Storm head around the same time.

How I made her: Wasp with Han Solo's ankles and feet and the '13 Storm head cast. Apoxie sculpt and Citadel paints except for Model Master silver and gloss black. Belt buckles from a Gears of War figure and lightning from a Star Wars figure.

What worked: Pressing a metal tube into the collar and armband to make the studs. Using an airbrush for the gray highlights.

What I'd do differently: I'd use Hasbro's Punk Storm feet. An accurate removable vest would be doable with green stuff and styrene strips.
