Every 23rd spring, for 23 days, she gets to hunt. This morning she found twins, two flaxen-haired maidens near a well outside Leningrad. She took the heart of one and the eyes of the other . . . .
She lets out a gutteral cry, a call to her mate, his absence stretching now for more than 4 hunting cycles, lost to another part of the world, carried away by unknowing peasants on a pilgrimage to a distant land . . . .

I love Jeepers Creepers, so I've wanted to create a figure based on the mythology of the creature--this was the perfect opportunity to do a female version. Started with a 12" Art S. Buck artist's mannequin (incredible articulation), watched the movies two or three times, watched "behind the scenes footage," reconfigured the head/neck attachment with magnet and ball bearing (thanks for the great tutorial!), sculpted "organic" breast, hip, and arm plates out of sculpt, completely resculpted head to look like the photos I found of the creeper, used Tibetan lamb's wool for hair, hand-dyed cheesecloth to fashion a skirt, bodice, and leggings, resculpted feet to have talons, used wings from a random dragon, repainted them and attached them with more magnets in the back so that they can be posed/moved, painted entire figure several times to get layering and aging, made a deadly bone disc (used by the creeper to mame its victims) out of sculpt and cheesecloth.
Hope you like her ;)

I really loved this custom and gave it full marks. At first I thought you had put the Creepers head on a female monster body, but when I saw your WIP pics and realised it was all sculpted on an artist's model I was seriously blown away.
Amazing work mate.

Thanks everyone for the great comments! She was a tremendous amount of work and I'm really happy she was noticed amidst all the other great work on here. She's actually my second custom on this site, but I recently re-registered under this name. Thanks again and I'll be posting more soon
