I found this mini kitchen model kit online and decided to give it a buy and see what it was like. Very basic, most detail was actually cut out paper designs. However, it was the perfect scale for some of my extra zombie figures and did feature a working light, so I decided to roll with it and made a 1:32insh scale diorama. Obviously the first step was to build the kitchen. I wanted it to look weathered and aged, so I kept it rather rough looking and everything was hit with washes to make it look dirty. The light was also installed in the cabinet and can be turned off and on with a switch. The body on the floor was from a McFarlane Walking Dead Building set while the actual zombie was from another McFarlane line. As the zombie came as an overall green color, it was completely repainted and the body was touched up as well. Overall not too extreme workwise, but I thought it turned out well for a 1:32 scale diorama. ![]() |
