Hey there, I'm a huge fan of the Ghost Riders, especially Johnny and Danny! Hasbro released a really cool Danny Ketch figure this year, but I wanted to make a custom Ghost Rider that looked more like the '90s comic covers. So, I repainted the jacket and hands in dark teal and brushed them with a lighter shade to make them look more like a leather jacket (with those '90s colors, you know?). I also repainted the pants with a brown wash and a grayish brush to make them look like real gray jeans. The boots got a teal repaint too, but I went darker on those and added some mud and dust to make them look like they've seen some real biker action. I even repainted the spikes with a darker steel color and brushed them with platinum so they'd shine properly instead of looking like cheap plastic. And lastly, I bought a new head that was 3D printed in translucent resin and painted it. I love the head that came with the figure, but I just had to have an extra one (because, well, extra hands and heads are always a must, right?). ![]() |
