I had these Microverse Star Wars ships sitting around and decided they would be great for dioramas. The first one I decided to use was the Microverse Lambda shuttle.

The base was a circular wooden stand, not sure where it came from. It was painted with silver spray paint to give it a metallic look. The shuttle itself was attached and then I started putting on bits and pieces of things to make it look like a landing pad with various machinery. I also decided to add a TIE pilot to give it a bit more life, like a pilot that had to make an emergency landing.

After that, I weather everything and added a fair amount of foilage. I really wanted it to look like this pilot had to make an emergency landing on a long abandoned landing pad. Finally, everything was sealed.
