The body of this figure came from a Blue Royal Guard (Senate Security) from Hasbro Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. I removed the cloth cloak he had originally and added a cape as well as a belt. The cape I took from a Batman 1966 Funko ReAction figure. The little pistol he has came from another Funko ReAction figure, Athena from Disney's Tomorrowland. Meanwhile the belt (which included the knife and holder for the sword) was from a Hasbro G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary Torpedo. His sword also comes from a 50th Anniversary G.I. Joe figure, that is Spirit Iron Knife from a Classic Clash set. The spear (now a long stun baton with a pike on the end) came from a Rebel Honor Guard from the Star Wars 30th Anniversary line. The little electric current comes from a Mattel Jurassic World Chaos Theory, Darius action figure from the Netflix show, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. The shield belongs to a Hasbro Captain America The Winter Soldier figure. I covered up the star in the middle with a blue sticker and used tabletop decals from a Warhammer 40k, Ultramarines transfer sheet to add the Omega symbol onto the shield, as well on his grieves and shoulders. I made this figure as a tribute to Greece and submitted it on Greek Independence Day. As a lover of Greek history I thought it would be cool if the Greeks had their own Captain America archetype and that is why I created this character. Please wait... |

Captain Hellas
I wanted him to have a modernized aesthetic look to the Greek hoplites of Antiquity, but with updated weapons and equipment. Luckily, the Star Wars Senate Guard has a Corinthian helmet and muscled cuirass design, both complimented the theme I was going for. Meanwhile Captain America's shield being round helped complete the ensemble. I originally tried drawing a white cross to resemble the cross on Greece's flag onto the blue sticker, but it didn't look very good. So I made the Omega sign his insignia instead.
Electric spear
I originally considered giving him a regular spear from a Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. 4 inch Spartan action figure. But I ended up deciding it would be more practical if he fought baddies with a long stun baton, while still keeping the aesthetics of a hoplite warrior.
Sword
This sword is the closest thing I could get that resembled a kopis, which were the single bladed Greek short sword that is similar to a machete. The fits into the little square shaped hole pocket on the right side of the belt. It takes a little effort to put in and then pull out though.
Pistol and pauldron decal
The little pistol you see here is actually a sci-fi gun that shoots lasers from Disney's Tomorrowland movie. It was the only thing that could fit into the Senate Guard's bulky holster. I would have preferred putting slightly bigger decals on the pauldrons, but they would have overlapped with the hinges in the shoulders, which would have destroyed the decals whenever he flexed his arms. The small sized decals on the pauldrons look a little ridiculous, but this is the best I could do when accounting for the constrains of this figure's design.
