I think Hydroman turned out very good here, the only way it could get any better is if you wanted to paint the lower torso/water geyser part of his body a darker color to match the base and water portions of his arms.

That's very smart I've used a couple of figures for customs that I wish I could have again, but are now impossible to find!

Thanks Guys!!! I felt when I was doing the submission work for my son that I maybe should have said it was from a 12 year old, but I figured... What the hell. I didn't know this type of work was being done or what to expect with comments and such so I just submitted the stuff with what my son told me to say. After we saw the comments, I explained to him that this kind of thing is expected and that not everyone will like his work but that if he enjoys doing it then he shouldn't stop but try to learn from what others say. However, this coming from his Dad is not the same as hearing it from others that create these customs. Since he has read your recent comments he is no longer discouraged. So once again, Thanks.
Also, some of you have asked about his Evo Magneto. I don't recall when or where, but he swears he got it at Wal-Mart. His Mom and I don't let him do any customizing to his Action Figures unless he has duplicates.

Ok Wait a minute...We are for the most part Adults here at figure realm and can take critisism. Now if you had explained in the begining that your son was 12 we may have been a little harsh... You can tell your son that if he wants some tips on customizing, I would be happy to help him. Let me know, and tell him I meant no harm. He needs practice, but all of us here did.

yea, he shouldn't be discourage. You should see my first custom ever, now that I look back at it, it aint that great. I'll post it up once I get back home. But I wouldve NEVER improved if it wasn't for the comments I got. Such as, improving on my painting, which I focused on with my next custom. And in my opinion, I think iv'e improved, even just a little. My point is, everyone starts at the same point, as a beginner, and learning from others and your own mistakes, you'll improve. Let him know that harsh comments arent meant to hurt but to help...in a way I guess...lol hope that helps your son get back to customizing.

I thought I should let everyone know, that the creator for this and the other Flameon14372 customs is 12, and this is the first time he had ever done anything like this. I have been submitting them on his behalf. Although I appreciate the criticism and feedback you are providing my son he is a bit discouraged at continuing to do this stuff. You may want to think next time before you start slamming creators. I have explained to my son that he should not be discouraged and continue but try to learn from what you all have said.
