This is my version of the Joker. When I first saw this figure at my local Comic store: R-Galaxy, I saw the Joker in there somewhere, this was before the Dark Knight had come out. As I saved up the money to buy the figure I went to see the Dark Knight, I used Heath Ledger's portrayal of the iconic character as inspiration for this figure. I used Apoxie to sculpt the scarred mouth after using a small drill bit and my Dremel to carve out the mouth line. I used Apoxie to redo the eye brows, fill in some of the wrinkles around the eyes and fix the nostrils a bit. I airbrushed the base skin color and the white, red and black face paint. I Finished up the details on the face with a brush and painted the hair with a brush(took me three trys to get it the way I wanted). I re-painted the straight jacket from its original grey to a more canvas look, re-painted the belts brown. The single strand of hair is bread tie wire. The last pics are work in progress. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Just wanted to let everyone know I found a "talking" Hallmark card at my local Walgreens, it was a DK Joker Birthday card and I switched out the sound boards. So now when you flip the power switch the figure says "Lets put a smile on that face." and then his blood curling cackle! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ![]() |
