A mutant cat burglar that appears as a boss character in the 1993 Gameboy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue video game (he's also one of the rarest original Playmates TMNT toys). This criminal feline will have to be defeated twice during the course of this adventure, once, near the beginning, to win the first of five jail cell keys, and then again, near the end of the game, in a "boss rush" prior to reaching Cyber Shredder. In between hopping about and/or charging across the screen, Scratch will attack the Turtles with swipes from his deadly claws and crushing blows from his ball-and-chain. Materials: Newsprint, Kleenex, white/hot glue, wire twist ties, string, ink, and acrylic paint. Dimensions*: (* The numbers given are approximations, as the dimensions of this figure can vary considerably depending on how the joints are positioned. For the sake of simplicity, the tail/ball-and-chain were excluded from the measurements.) 7.2 cm/2.8 in. x 3.4 cm/1.3 in. (highest point x widest point) Articulation: Thirty-seven points total: Neck (2), shoulders(2), elbows (4), wrists (2), waist, tail (15), hips (2), knee (2), hock (2), fetlock (2), and ankles (3). Additionally, all of the links in the chain can move freely. Time: Roughly three days; October 24-26, 2008. ![]() |
