Iron Man Extremis Armor (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:13810
Name:Iron Man Extremis Armor
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:RandysActionFigures
Date Added:April 5, 2009
Base Figure:Wrarrl
Height:8.00 inches
I created this figure as a commission job. I started from a Legendary heroes "WRARRL" figure. After dremeling every thing down, I just started laying on the Sculpey! After several long hours of labor this is what I cam up with. I even used Sculpey to cover up Wrarrl very nasty and ugly face to create the Helmet. I used Model Master clear red, and Tamiya clear yellow, painted over silver to get the finished look!

Paid this guy full price for this custom figure, and got stiffed. He disapeared off the custom scene map after taking a lot of money from people, and orders on a website. Rip off artist.

I'm bran knew to the Sculpey line. I just read some tuts on it. I noticed if I hit it with a heat gun real good first it hardens up the surface at least, then when you boil you don't have to worry about denting the sculpey depending on how you are doing it.
works for me so far, also been experimenting the "bake and bend" its more plastic like after you cook it, thinking will work great for hair... capes... what ever.

I thikn I need to work on my sculpty technique, mine always wants to flake and crack after I boil it unless its not cured enough. It is amazing work. I have the base figure and its a big big change.

No problems with brittle. I scrupted it to where I wanted then hit with my heat gun, later I went and boiled it for 4 minutes to make sure it was cured all the way through.
Thank you!

Its amazing sculpting. I'm a big supersculpty fan too. Did you have trouble with it becoming brittle as you cured it?
