This is the Wrath, the evil Batman who debuted and demised in Batman Special #1, back in 1984. This villain would be a hot item today had they resurrected him and not left him comatose. His origin is exactly like Batman's only his parents were criminals. So instead of fighting crime, he hunted down cops until he could get his hands on the cop who killed his parents the same day Bruce's parents died. Comissioner Gordon.

In one issue, he managed to figure out Bruce's identity, beat up Alfred, destroy Bruce's parents grave, kidnap Leslie Tompkins and nearly kill Comissioner Gordon. Not bad for a one time showdown.

Even Batman called him "the Player on the Other Side." His exact opposite in life. Too bad he's not around to agree.
