As you may have noticed by now I have a slight obsession with alternate reality Wolverines. So here's my (technically 2nd) attempt at the ultimate universe version of cable. Which is a powerless battle scarred logan.

I originally attempted this with an x-men classics angel and it just wasn't happening. So I had a second go using a stripped down decapitated wonderman. I hand sculpted (using green stuff) the tactical flak jacket, After sculpting on the armour plates I added pouches from super patriots belt and shoulder pads from baron von strucker (from the 2 pack, so if u do wanna do this red skull has the same pads). I then addedd the combat knife from an old mgs fig. The crotch plate came from the classics angel and is the only part of the original attempt to be recycled. I think the grenades came from poundland.

I shaved the wrist bands from both arms and sculpted a glove on the right hand and swapped the left hand for judge dredds. I then puttied over the left arm to ake he cybernetic one. The head came straight from xorn which I scarred up. The detachable claws came from an ultimate wolverine. The bullet racks came from a cheap corps fig and he has judge dredds holster on his back with a gears of war snub pistol in it. His rifle is a HK M416 made from a few other guns (this is a real geek nod as in terminator salvation john connor uses this gun, I felt a lil bit of homage was necessary fo another of mans saviors to use this against oppressing machines - that and I like the gun).

The whole fig was then repainted with citadel paints.

Sorry I've rambled on for so long about this guy but he's officially my new favourite figure. Please comment guys, I love feedback be it good bad or scarfaced.
