Night Thrasher, aka Dwayne Taylor, was the founder of the New Warriors, a superhero team whose members included Nova and Firestar. He was a member throughout most of the team's history, until his (apparent; never say die in comics!) demise at the hands of Nitro in the Stamford tragedy. His brother has since carried on his legacy.
I have depicted Thrash in what I believe to be the second version of his costume/armour. For this figure, I started out with ML War Machine as the base. The head and boots are from the Punisher. The removable helmet was made from Doop (believe it or not!). The (unseen) backpack is from an Iron Man figure and the (unseen) gun is from the Punisher's base. The skateboard is from an unknown toy line. The mounted batons are pieces of wood, and the rest is plastic and rubber. I made this figure a few years ago, and he remains one of my personal faves.
