Dr. Eliot Franklin met the Wrecker in jail. The Wrecker shared his magical powers with Franklin and two others. Now calling himself Thunderball, he joined the three other Asgardian-powered criminals in forming the gang called the Wrecking Crew. They've been wreaking havoc in the Marvel Universe ever since.
