Colleen Wing - Heroes for Hire (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #: | 16604 | Name: | Colleen Wing - Heroes for Hire | Custom Type: | Action Figure | Toy Series: | Marvel Legends | Creator: | vidmouse | Date Added: | August 5, 2009 | Base Figure: | Emma Frost, Psylocke | Height: | 6.00 inches |
Played around today with a spare HML Emma Frost body and a 5" X-Men Psylocke (with Light Up Weapon! Toy Biz circa 1996). Figured the head would look good on Emma so I snapped it off Psylocke, ground down the neck, and used a forstner bit to create a hole in the head for Emma's neck to fit into... works great, nice and snug. The katana is from the same Psylocke figure! I was going to make a generic Street Fighter-like figure because I'm "into" SF IV right now, but after doing the hair color (real red with a little golden brown mixed in) it made me think of Colleen Wing. I added another strand of hair with apoxie sculpt, and added earrings made from bits of rubber from a DCSH Superman cape. The extra piping is apoxie sculpt. I didn't quite follow the comic book design b/c I got a little lazy with it but I like how it came out. Hope you like her too! Please wait... |

sadly no Sakura in my fodder bin (and I don't feel
like shelling out $13 for a pair of sneakers and
and feetless Sakura).
Onward and onward... hopefully my new GL custom will show when
the next new customs update comes up
time I did I figured I liked the heels well enough.
In hindsight though I wish I had another figure that
had sneakers small enough to try for a swap...
I looked at an Ann O Brien but she's so big in
comparison, they look like big clown feet.
Thanks for the good comments!
