Hey everyone. This is my first custom that wasn't a simple head/part swap or some kind of minor fix. It's not super complicated, but it makes a huge difference and I'm proud of how it came out. So here we go. When I first saw the War Machine from the variant Iron/Mandarin Two pack I thought it was great, but something was missing... oh yeah, HIS WEAPONS! I took the missile launcher from the first Marvel Legends War Machine and used apoxie sculpt to mount it on his back. Then I took the shoulder cannon from and old 5 in Iron Animated series War Machine and cut off an old fodder piece from another toy and with some drilling and more sculpt attached the two parts and the shoulder cannon to his back. This way both the missile launcher and shoulder cannon had articulation. The weapons can be put in an upright "at rest" position behind him. I also cut the laser scope from the side of the 5 in War Machine attached it to my new War Machine to further distance his look from Iron Man. Then I painted the parts to match the figure. I included the Iron Man figure (which is the same sculpt just a different color) for comparison. Let me know what you think.
